Twin wall boom pipes have an inner resistant pipe lining with an outer steel shell. The internal liner is made of special anti-wear steel, hardness up to HRC68. The material of the inner wall is high chrome cast alloy by centrifugal casting. The advantage of centrifugal casting is that the work life of the inner layer is longer due to two factors:

1 The rotation process makes the density grain higher structure resulting in longer working life than normal materials.

2 The centrifugal casting increases the purity of the product material.

As all above, the centrifugal casting twin wall pipes are able to service much longer than common twin wall pipes.
